cost for the same villa. Record the drawing revisions used for pricing. If one contractor prices an earlier design, the totals may describe different buildings.<\/p><h2>Compare scope, not only totals<\/h2><p>Make a comparison sheet for civil works, MEP, finishes and external works. Ask each contractor to identify exclusions and items priced as allowances. Ask what quantity, specification and installation scope it covers. Agree how a later selection or design change will be priced and approved. Keep decisions and revisions in writing so the client, consultant and contractor work from the same record.<\/p><h2>Review the programme and payment basis<\/h2><p>Discuss the intended start, key milestones, procurement assumptions and the information needed before each stage. Compare how progress payments are assessed and what supporting records are expected. Resolve commercial terms with the relevant advisers before signing.<\/p><h2>Use a written clarification list<\/h2><p>Send the same outstanding questions to the shortlisted contractors and ask for revised quotations where needed. Select the offer that gives you a clear scope, workable programme and understood responsibilities.
